Remission: The Certainty of Deliverance
Have you ever struggled with the certainty of your salvation? Perhaps you're struggling with that assurance now. In Hebrews 10, we see a powerful reminder that those who are being sanctified have been perfected in Christ's atonement. There is remission from sin. This week, we will dive into the meaning of "remission" and how it holds a key to salvific assurance. But there is also another side to the story. It is the side where one's salvation is forfeited through one's own decision. What does that look like? How does the author of Hebrews explain such a forfeiture?
We will have prayer, communion, and martyr's minutes this week. Please bring communion elements, prayer requests, and answered prayer reports. Invite a friend or someone you know who needs comfort in the assurance of their salvation.
